Ms. Frances Raines was born on January 10, 1925. She will be 99 years old this month! Ms. Raines was a school teacher for 33 years at East Rome Junior High. She has a loving and devoted niece she adores, Laura. Ms. Raines holds three different college degrees. She is an alumnus of Shorter College, Georgia State College and Peabody Teacher College, now known as Vanderbilt, in Nashville, Tennessee.
Ms. Raines has traveled the world, visiting places such as Europe, The Holy Land and Canada, as well as many places throughout the United States. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School, gardening, shopping and reading. Ms. Raines is a native Roman.
