Residents will get to see first-hand animals from the Northwest Georgia Region. It’s going to be a great adventure learning the traits and characteristics of the animal in its own environment.
Lock and Dam
June 8th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm
Riverwood residents will get to enjoy a lovely lunch by the river. We will have music and some great desserts to share. It is a pretty view!
Father’s Day Cookout

Our fathers will enjoy delicious lunch and great entertainment with their families! Come join in the fun and help us honor our dads!
Going Fishing!
June 21st from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
Our residents will get the opportunity to fish and soak up the sunshine. We will have a contest to see who catches the biggest fish.
Touring the Ruins at Barnsley Resort
June 22nd from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm
We will take a trip to some ruins at an enchanting retreat nestled amidst the picturesque beauty of Georgia’s countryside.
Dub’s High on the Hog
June 27th from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm
Residents are going to get to shop at the unique stores in downtown Calhoun and then enjoy a great lunch at Dub’s High on the Hog!
Olive Garden Outing
June 29th from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm
We will be embarking on a culinary journey to Italy without leaving our town! Join us on a trip to a warm and inviting atmosphere where the aroma of freshly baked bread and simmering sauces fills the air.
